PSP investigate use of fake $100 bills during Facebook Marketplace exchange – 69News WFMZ-TV

U. BERN TWP., Pa. – Police are investigating a case of fake cash being used during a Facebook Marketplace exchange in Berks County.  Pennsylvania State Police say Tyler Tegge, 18 of Northumberland County, is charged with felony counts of forgery, theft by deception, possessing instruments of crime, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. A media release from PSP writes that on Jan. 9 troopers responded to N. 2nd Street in Upper Bern Twp. for a report of theft/forgery. Troopers say after a Facebook Marketplace exchange, a victim realized the money received was fraudulent movie prop $100 bills. Police say the bills appear authentic…
